Soccer Shoes? (I Thought They Were Cleats!)by Samantha Kay
The name of the footwear used for playing soccer is commonly referred to as cleats, or in Europe, boots. However, if you are speaking of indoor soccer, it is quite proper to refer to your cleats as shoes, especially since they don’t actually have the spikes usually associated with cleats.
Indoor soccer shoes should have a non-marking rubber sole, meaning even hard use on a gym floor or other surface will not leave it worse for the wear. Many players who frequent both grassy and indoor fields refer to their indoor shoes as flats, and their traditional grass field shoes as cleats. Flat soccer shoes are also appropriate on dry artificial surfaces, even when outdoors.

Defending the Soccer Goal - Article 2, Rev 1
By Albert M. Luongo
Defense is probably the most strategic job on the field. If no goals are scored, you obviously cannot lose the soccer match. When the defense is strong, it enables the forward seeking players (the offense or attackers) to remain further up field to better concentrate on attacking properly, thus leaving the defensive job to the defending specialists (defenders).

Soccer skills: Passing and shooting (strike) by Danupol Srinakharin
Passing
To pass the ball, we kick the ball by using inside of the foot. This method is mostly used for passing, due to its accuracy and easy to control the direction and weight. This method can also be applied when you want to do both short passing and long passing. Also, it would be very useful, if possible, to practice on passing the ball by using both feet, which benefit with some circumstances.
There many ways to practice passing shot, for example, if you have a partner you can practice by passing a ball to your partner or knocking with the wall in case you do not have partner to practice with. You can start from passing in short distance such as 10-150 meters until you have enough skill, then try to pass to longer distance such as one side to another side of the pitch.
